Alliance for Chesapeake Bay – Tree Planting

Plant 190 trees with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay in Lancaster, PA!

What to wear & bring
Please dress for the weather, we are rain or shine! Volunteers need to wear long pants, clothes that can get dirty, and close-toed shoes (boots recommended). We also recommend a hat, bug spray, sunscreen, and gloves if you have them. Please bring water for yourself. Shovels will be provided.

Accessibility
This site is very flat and accessible. Volunteers should be prepared to walk, bend, stoop, and kneel, dig, and do some minor lifting. A tree planting demonstration will be given at the beginning of the event.
Children of all ages are welcome to attend with their guardians.
Bathrooms are not available.
Please follow all parking directions when arriving.

Location
This planting location is in Lancaster. Upon successful registration for this event, the exact event address will be sent to the registrant. Reminder emails are also sent approximately 3 days prior to the event and the day of the event via email.
