On Sep 19, CCWA is collaborating with the Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick, and with The Lebanon Valley Conservancy, in a ‘Clean Water Day at Governor Dick Park.’ (https://www.chiquescreekwatershedalliance.org/upcoming/clean-water-day-at-governor-dick-park). This is part of TLVC Clean Water Week.
We are thrilled to have 3 highly regarded speakers address how agricultural best practices help conserve soil and improve water quality. Are you curious how ag and other development impact our water, or what can be done to build resilience?

Matt Kofroth, Assistant District Manager at the Lancaster County Conservation District. Helps align potential conservation-oriented ag projects with funding and assesses their impact.
For younger kiddos, we’ll have a conservation story hour plus some watercolor painting, and a raffle for a few bluebird houses! And then for those interested, a Paw Paw Walk – guided hike to hunt for some of this native fruit!
