Please join us for a discussion on how our yards, woodlots and farms can be managed for beauty, wildlife and a healthier Fishing Creek. Stroud Water Research Center’s Lamonte Garber and Marcy Hostetler, founder of ColorGarden, Inc. dig into the world of native plants, shrubs and trees. It’s spring! – Is 2026 the year to turn over a new leaf?

Lamonte is well-known to our watershed community and we are honored to have him return to Drumore Mill and the Fishing Creek Watershed.
Marcy Hostetler is an academic scholar from Lancaster Clean Water Partners’ Watershed Leadership Academy. She then enrolled in Mt. Cuba’s Ecological Gardening program, from which she graduated with her certificate in June 2025. More information is available at
