DESCRIPTION:Shiprock Woods Restoration Project Tour \nJoin us on a tour of a collaborative stream restoration project between the Conservancy and Lancaster County Conservation District. Many streams in Lancaster lack habitat for aquatic animals and have an overabundance of sediment and nutrients that are harmful to aquatic life. We’ll discuss how we use woody materials and trees to provide habitat and reduce sediment entering the creek. Come down to Shiprock Woods Nature Preserve and see the transformation! \nRegistration is free but required!
