This is a project that is about 15 years old\, needs the final tree tubes removed\, and litter from flooding and local roadways picked-up. DESCRIPTION:We need help harvesting live stakes.  They will be planted later in the week by a church group to enhance their streamside tree planting.  Live stake harvesting uses pruners to cut 2-3 foot sections of branches from mature red osier dogwood\, silky dogwood\, buttonbush\, elderberry\, and willow plants.  The cut branches are later planted directly into streambanks where they will grow into new plants.  Email klk343@psu.edu if you are able to help.

DESCRIPTION:Help the Creekside HOA plant trees\, remove tree tubes from maturing trees\, and replace shrub tubes with taller tubes to better protect the plants from deer.  This HOA has been continually working to improve their riparian buffer over the past 9 years.  Many of the original tree tubes are ready to come off but there are also a few places that could use some replants.  If you can join the Landscaping Committee\, please email klk343@psu.edu
